Mikel Arteta has, again, been asked about Arsenal’s need for a striker.
“One thing is what we need and another is what we can do. What we can do is stick behind those players and make sure we stick behind those players.
He added: “Yeah, it is frustrating but what can we do. I can’t tell them play bad, don’t shoot, and score and own goal … What I beg from the supporters is that they are behind the team.
“Stick behind the team, they are incredibly good. They deserve the support with their attitude.”
Kylian Mbappe is reportedly ready to consider a free transfer to the Premier League - as frustrations grow with Real Madrid's pursuit.
The French sensation, 25, has entered the final six months of his Paris Saint-Germain contract.
And he is expected to leave the Ligue 1 giants at the end of the season.
Real Madrid remain desperate to land the World Cup winner - after failed attempts in 2017 and again in 2022.
However, The Times state Real have placed a January deadline on Mbappe signing a pre-contract agreement for the 2024-25 season to secure his services.
But the report adds the forward is unimpressed by Los Blancos' approach to the latest negotiations - and he has told friends he will not be forced into making a premature decision.
The Times adds that Mbappe wants to explore his other options first.
And that includes moving to England, with Liverpool a genuine possible destination.
Former Chelsea star Joao Felix has increased his salary by 900 per cent after signing a new Barcelona contract.
The forward signed for Barca on loan from Atletico Madrid in the summer.
He was initially given a salary of just £344,440 a year due to Barcelona's financial struggles, with Felix happy to accept the wage cut to push through the deal.
Felix, 24, described his move to the Nou Camp as a "dream" and his commitment has now been rewarded with a lucrative new deal.
LaLiga president Javier Tebas revealed they had "multiplied the remuneration agreed between Felix and Barcelona by 10, for Fair Play purposes".
That means the Portuguese could now be earning up to £3,444,400 per year, or £66,000 a week.
