Transfer news LIVE: Tottenham monitoring £50m Solanke, Chelse set hefty Gallagher price EXCLUSIVE, Mbappe future latest

  • Morning, football fans

Spurs are monitoring Dominic Solanke - as they look to sign a striker in the Summer.

The Bournemouth hitman, who scored a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, has taken the Premier League by storm this year. And Sun Online can reveal that Tottenham are “closely watching” the striker’s progress.

A source said: “Spurs want to sign a striker in the Summer. The club hasn't replaced Harry Kane so recruiting a new forward is a big priority and Solanke is someone they are closely monitoring.

“They’ve sent scouts to watch him already several times this season, and they will continue to track him into the New Year.

“He ticks a lot of boxes for Spurs, and Bournemouth know if he carries on showing the kind of form he is then they will struggle to stop other clubs from sniffing around him. They are bracing themselves for bids.”

  • Osimhen pens new contract at Napoli

Chelsea have suffered a huge transfer blow after Napoli confirmed Victor Osimhen has signed a new contract.

The Nigerian, 24, earned legendary status last season at the Italian club with his exploits up front.

He played an instrumental role in Napoli ending their 33-year wait for the Serie A title.

Osimhen scored 26 goals in 32 top-flight matches and has continued that red-hot form this term despite several controversies.

The hotshot was linked with a host of Europe’s biggest clubs over the summer as both Manchester United and Chelsea chased his signature.

After a move failed to materialise, the Premier League duo and rivals Arsenal were then put on red alert after a controversial TikTok post left the player contemplating SUING his employers back in September.

Then it emerged that Chelsea were leading the race to try and sign him - despite Napoli working hard to secure their talisman to a new long-term deal.

Now the Blues may have to wait a little longer to get the striker after he finally penned an extension.

Napoli confirmed the news on social media with a post that was captioned with “together until 2026” and a picture of Osimhen and club president Aurelio De Laurentiis sitting in front of them.

  • Spurs eye Solanke

Tottenham are monitoring Dominic Solanke - as they look to sign a striker in the Summer.

“He ticks a lot of boxes for Spurs, and Bournemouth know if he carries on showing the kind of form he is then they will struggle to stop other clubs from sniffing around him. They are bracing themselves for bids.”

Spurs are also keen on Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, but interest in the Irishman has reportedly cooled and Solanke is seen as a “better prospect”.

The source added: “Tottenham want a focal point striker who has scored 11 goals in the Premier League, and Solanke has shown this season that he has the potential to play at a higher level.

  • Wonderkid to join Barcelona

Brazilian wonderkid Vitor Roque will reportedly travel to Barcelona in the next 24 hours to complete a switch from Club Athletico Paranaense.

The 18-year-old has scored 17 goals in 54 games during his professional career so far.

Roque has also featured for Brazil's first team.

  • Toon and Spurs quoted huge Guehi price

Tottenham and Newcastle have been told to forget about a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.

Spurs are keen on the England centre-back, 23, while Toon have also made an inquiry.

But the Eagles will not budge in January unless the fee is massive.

Ange Postecoglou is desperate to bolster his back line while Newcastle chief Eddie Howe hopes Dan Burn’s return from injury eases the pressure short term.

Neither club is likely to have that sort of ready cash, putting them in the queue when the auction for Guehi starts next summer.

Arsenal as well as both Manchester clubs also like Guehi, while Chelsea can match any bid as part of the deal which took him to Palace for £20million in 2021.

Meanwhile, Spurs will also have to find £50m for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher.

He was selected for friendly matches against Switzerland and Ivory Coast, making his debut in a 2-1 win against the Swiss.

However, a move away from Palace could hinder his chances of making the Euro 2024.

A potential big-money move would bring added pressure, and could hinder his form moving before the tournament.

  • Gunners full-back linked with move away

Arsenal right-back Cedric Soares has been linked with a move to Spanish side Villarreal.

The Gunners outcast has only featured just twice this campaign and a January move is said to be on the cards.

  • Wolves eye ex-Man Utd stopper

Wolves are ready to go for Crystal Palace keeper Sam Johnstone — as Jose Sa waits for a move.

Johnstone, 30, could be available following the August signing of Dean Henderson from Manchester United, who is now fit and starting.

ngland man Johnstone only lost his place through injury but will be fit soon.

Wolves have been on his trail since the summer when Henderson, 26, joined Palace.

Wolves are in the market for a new No 1, with Sa in the sights of Nottingham Forest and also clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Sa, 30, was on Forest’s watch list before and the appointment of ex-boss Nuno Espirito Santo has put him back on the Midlanders’ radar.

The Wolves ace would be available at the right price.

  • Aston Villa eye Summerville

Aston Villa are reportedly amongst other club tracking Leeds star Crysencio Summerville.

The Dutchman has 10 goals and five assists since October.

Premier League new boys Burnley saw a £20million bid turned down by the Championship side in August.

  • Agent refuses to discuss details of Osimhen's 'confidential' contract

Victor Osimhen's agent has refused to entertain talk of a release clause.

The Napoli striker, 24, is a top target for Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

All three clubs are looking for a new striker, but the Nigerian has extended his stay in southern Italy for until 2026.

By which time he will be 29 years old, and the interest in him from England may have waned.

But infamously difficult Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis has made it very difficult for other clubs to prise Osimhen out of their grasp.

  • Prem clubs are 'Verri interested

Chelsea and Manchester City are among the Premier League teams showing interest in Argentina starlet Claudio Echeverri.

The midfielder, 17, is highly valued by River Plate and the two English teams could make a move for the Argentina Under-17 international, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The River Plate ace made his debut for the Buenos Aires club back in July, the same time that he starred in the Under-17 World Cup, where he helped his side finish third.

  • Joao Neves on Premier League clubs' radars

Manchester United are being linked with a move for Portuguese sensation Joao Neves, 19, with a host of Premier League sides casting a beady eye on the teen.

The central midfielder has a 100million Euro release clause in his contract, which equates to £86million.

United have had their fair share of overpriced duds in the recent past and surely would not bow to such a huge price for an unproven teenager from the Portuguese league.

But Benfica president Rui Costa is keen to cash in on the midfield talent and is clearly lining up suitors.

Neves made a name for himself at the Estadio da Luz this season when he scored against Sporting Lisbon in the derby and has picked up some crucial Champions League experience this term.

"If we need to add, we do it together, in a way that takes the best decision for the club”

“The Sporting Director and us, we are always talking and assessing."

  • Osimhen bombshell

Victor Osimhen's agent has put the Premier League's big boys on red alert by refusing to rule out an exit from Napoli.

His agent, Roberto Calenda, said: “Look, last summer many offers arrived, even monstrous ones.

"But De Laurentiis wanted to keep Victor, and we made ourselves available.

“If there had been the desire to leave, we would have said so. And instead, we worked, and a lot, only upon renewal.

“And next summer, it will be the same: we will talk to De Laurentiis and see together what to do.”

  • Mbappe latest

Kylian Mbappe WON'T be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this month.

The France international's current contract with the French champions next summer.

But L'Equipe claim the Parisians aren't receptive to the ideal of selling the 25-year-old next month.
