A MUM has been hailed as "brilliant" after staging an epic April Fools prank on her kids.
Kelly admitted that the 1st April - traditionally a day when people set up pranks and play jokes on each other - is her "favourite day of the whole year".
And she started setting up this year's attempt a few days ago, when she popped to McDonald's to pick up some empty wrappers and cups.
"I wasn't really sure what was gonna put inside," she said in a TikTok video.
"It was just last minute I saw the hot cross buns, I'm like, yes, we'll put them inside!"
Kelly took the children's orders, made some coffee in the McDonald's cups to make it "believable" and went outside to ring the doorbell and thank "the invisible delivery driver for my non existent McDonald's".

Her kids were then seen coming down to sit at the table, and took their drinks out of the bags before starting to take out their food.
They slowly started unwrapping the "burgers", only to find out that they were actually hot cross buns.
Looking thoroughly unimpressed, the boys pushed the buns across the table in disgust - as their mum laughed hysterically at their reactions.
The boys continued to keep a straight face, before her middle son got up from the table and stomped off.
"This was absolutely hilarious!" Kelly captioned her video.
"My middle child went off crying!"
People in the comments section were quick to comment on the prank, with one writing: "This was brilliant - now I have to wait a frigging year to do this!"
"Now I'm gonna go make myself a hot cross bun!! I’d have been happy with that substitute," another added.
"Please tell me you did order them one in the end lol!" a third asked.
With Kelly responding: "Yes we went straight to the drive through and ordered.
"Didn’t make up for it though - still furious with me!"
"Ohhh this is a gooden," someone else said.
"Best one I've seen!" another praised.
"Oh my days!! This is absolutely brilliant," someone else wrote.
"Absolutely classic!" another agreed.
"I’m sorry but I would of cried," someone else insisted.
"You don’t play when it comes to McDonald’s breakfast!"
"I did take them to McDonald’s after," Kelly insisted.
