‘Natural looking brow’ rave shoppers as they rush to stock up on £10 Anastasia Beverly Hills dupe

BROW pencils are an essential in many beauty enthusiast's make-up bags to fill in any sparse brows, and enhance their brow shape.

In time gone by many would use eyeliner, whether it is kohl or liquid, to fill in their brows, but now there are plenty of brow pencils fine enough to replicate a faux hair.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wizz has been hailed as the number one eyebrow pencil in the USA, but we have found an alternative that won't cost a fortune - NYX Micro Brow Pencil.

NYX Professional Make-up Micro Brow Pencil retails for just £10, whereas Anastasia Beverly Hills' Brow Wiz fetches £22.

The NYX Micro Brow Pencil is double-ended, with one end being the pencil and the other the spoolie to comb through and tame your brow.

The tip of the pencil is uber fine so you can draw on fine lines to resemble your natural hairs, whether you wish to fill in gaps, extend the ends of your brows, or just make them a little more prominent.

This pencil comes in eight colours to match your hair tone so you are not left with glaringly obvious dark pencilled on brows - we've all been there, and it's not a vibe.

The spooler is a must because it not only tames and brushes through the bushiest of brows seamlessly, but it helps to define your brow shape and highlight any areas that need filling in.

NYX Brow Pencil is super compact, perfect to take on the go as it takes up barely any room in your bag.

Shoppers can't get enough of the eyebrow pencil, with some hailing it the best for natural hair strokes.

We love it, but Anastasia Beverly Hills' Brow Wiz fetches over double the price of the NYX dupe.

The pencil is cruelty-free and vegan and made from nourishing ingredients that glide on the skin smoothly, and the wax formula ensures the pigment pulls through when applied to your brows, but is natural looking.

The formula is lightweight but long-lasting, and easy to apply without the need to apply heavy pressure, have the pencil break, or just through your brows for an inconsistent flick.

Similar to the NYX version it also boasts a super fine pencil tip, which is retractable, and makes adding fine hairs to your brows super simple, and realistic.

While the other end is a delicate spoolie to comb through the hairs.

So far, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two.

The main standout difference between NYX and Anastasia Beverly Hills is the latter is available in 12 shades, as the varied colours make it easier to colour-match your brow hair with the pencil.

Anastasia Beverly Hills founder, Anastasia Soare, shared some useful tips when pencilling in the brows online.

Firstly "When preparing to fill in the brow, use Brow Wiz in a shade lighter than your natural hair colour to map out the three points of the Golden Ratio along the brow to serve as guide points."

Anastasia has also explained using a light pressure, and a flick of the wrist action, is key to creating natural hair flicks, but to do so in the same direction as the hair.
