Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou LIVE RESULTS: Updates with main card UNDERWAY – ring walk time, TV channel, stream

  • Israil Madrimov beats Magomed Kurbanov by TKO!

Park the Mourinho chat because Israil Madrimov is the new WBA super welterweight world champion!

He was simply unloading on his opponent on the ropes and the referee stepped in. No arguments from Kurbanov. He celebrated with three backflips inside the ring.

  • Israil Madrimov vs Magomed Kurbanov - Round four

    Look it's not a classic.

In fact, the loudest cheer of the night has been for the arrival of Jose Mourinho, who's just taken his seat. No doubt preparing himself for a new role in the Saudi Pro League.

Mourinho brought out the trophy ahead of the Egypt Cup final between Zamalek and Al Ahly. He was joined by Ronaldo, wearing an Al Ahly shirt, and Francesco Totti, wearing a Zamalek shirt.

  • Israil Madrimov vs Magomed Kurbanov - Round three

Israil Madrimov says he bases his style on Triple G, Gennady Golovkin. I can see it. He's extremely relaxed, showing good variation with an overhand right followed by a left hook. He seems at least three moves ahead of Magomed Kurbanov.

  • Israil Madrimov vs Magomed Kurbanov - Round two

Kurbanov takes a few strong jabs from Madrimov before a deceptive left hook connects. The Uzbekistan fighter looks a lot quicker than his opponent, who is struggling to return anything of note.

  • Israil Madrimov vs Magomed Kurbanov - Round one

Do these lads know it's called Knockout Chaos tonight? I was expecting fireworks from the off but it's been a cagey start to proceedings.

Magomed Kurbanov is the bigger man but underdog in the betting markets. Israil Madrimov is jabbing nicely, to the head and body but just as more of a range-finder.

  • Arrival

The Predator is in the building.

  • Israil Madrimov vs Magomed Kurbanov

I'm not going to lie to you, lads. I've never seen these two before in my life.

I do, however, know that this is for the WBA super-welterweight title. I also know that this is being tipped for fight of the night by people who are far more knowledgable than myself.

Israil Madrimov came out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, so he's got my vote.

  • What's next?

It's Israil Madrimov and Magomed Kurbanov - and someone's 0 has to go!

Both boast a perfect record. Uzbekistan’s Madrimov is 8-0-1, while Kurbanov 24-0 ahead of his first fight outside of his native Russia.

The bookies expect Madrimov to get the job done here. He's the 2/9 favourite with Kurbanov 16/5 to pull off a shock.

  • Pain

The cameras are giving us a close up of Turki Alalshikh ringside. He's just gone for a fist pump with Frank Warren, who left him hanging. Warren went back for a fist pump back a few seconds later but just ended up holding Alalshikh's hand.

    Marvellous moment.

  • Good news for AJ

Fans are convinced they know who will win tonight’s fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou after rapper Drake placed a huge £500,000 bet on the MMA man win.

In my limited knowledge of popular culture, Drake is known for having a pretty poor betting record.

The infamous ‘Drake curse’ has seen numerous athletes and teams fall victim to the rapper’s predictions - Conor McGregor, Man City and Jake Paul to name a few.

I have a similar curse myself going on.

  • STILL TO COME

    Still three more fights until Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou clash in their blockbuster showdown. Here's what's to come;

    • Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou - 11.20pm
    • Zhilei Zhang vs Joseph Parker - 10.20pm
    • Rey Vargas vs Nick Ball - 9.20pm
    • Israil Madrimov vs Magomed Kurbanov - 8.20pm

    RESULTS

    • Mark Chamberlain bt Gavin Gwynne by TKO
    • Justis Huni bt Kevin Lerena on points
  • Happy days

Turki Alalshikh will be thrilled with one of his favourite fighters doing the business. Good for Mark Chamberlain's bank account too, I'm sure he'll be back in Saudi in no time!

Thumbs up from Frank Warren, think he's wanting a selfie actually!

  • Mark Chamberlain beats Gavin Gwynne by TKO

    Looks bad, doesn't it?

Referee Howard Foster has had several looks at that right eye and chatted with Gavin Gwynne's corner. All supposedly alright at the moment but I'd be very surprised to see this one go on too much longer.

    In fact, it's all over!

The towel is thrown in with Mark Chamberlain delivering a lot of punishment to Gwynne on the ropes. That's a career-high from the pride of Portsmouth!

  • Mark Chamberlain vs Gavin Gwynne - Round three

More big shots, more domination and more punishment for that eye of Gavin Gwynne. I'm not actually sure the Welshman has landed anything of any note.

He is still taking those shots well, especially a straight left hook from Chamberlain towards the end of the round that knocked his gum shield out.

  • Mark Chamberlain vs Gavin Gwynne - Round two

The referee actually stops the second round before it starts to take a closer look at the face of Gavin Gwynne. That eye is looking pretty bad but he's given the OK.

Chamberlain dominates the round but Gwynne somehow produces a smile for those around the ring. Barmy.

  • Amir arrives

Amir Khan is in the house, folks. I seem to remember him giving Eminem his watch on his last visit to Saudi for Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou.

Wonder what prizes he's dishing out tonight?

  • Mark Chamberlain vs Gavin Gwynne - Round one

Mark Chamberlain starts proceedings with a sweeping left that connects but fails to wobble the Welshman Gavin Gwynne. Fairly ominous though.

Chamberlain then produces a nice flush uppercut and there's definitely some blood coming from Gwynne's eye. It might even be closing already - he already looks like he's trying to survive in the 10th.

I suppose we shouldn't be surprised. Six of Chamberlain's 14 stoppages have arrived in the opening round.

  • Mark Chamberlain vs Gavin Gwynne

These two are about to get things underway after delay. Remember folks, this one is for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental Lightweight title.

Oh and I found out what the delay was about. It was because Turki Alalshikh hadn’t returned to his seat. Not surprised with his boxing buddy in action!

  • Boxing friends

Mark Chamberlain is the one of Turki Alalshikh's favourite fighters. I promise that's true. They even spoke over the phone this Christmas about featuring here tonight.

A very useful contact to have, Mark. Better get the win now.

  • Timings

Well, we were expecting the Mark Chamberlain vs Gavin Gwynne to start at 7.30pm on the dot - but 15 minutes later there's still no sign of the pair.

  • Tale of the tape

Interesting that so many consider Francis Ngannou to be 'stocky' -- The fella is 6ft 4in and 272lbs!

  • Knockout offer

Literally. Well, not literally. You know what I mean.

Anyone who opens a brand new Paddy Power account tonight can back Anthony Joshua at a colossal 35/1 to beat Francis Ngannou via KO or TKO - that's boosted from 1/4!

You can find out how to do that HERE!

  • Mark Chamberlain vs Gavin Gwynne

Ok, up next we've got Mark Chamberlain and Gavin Gwynne, who've both fought their way to the top of the British lightweight division.

Portsmouth-born Mark Chamberlain is undefeated (14-0) with six of those stoppages coming in the opening round.

Newly-crowned EBU European lightweight champion Gwynne's record reads 17-2-1 with just five stoppage wins to his name.

Oh, and they both love a tattoo.
