Johnson came up through the ranks at Forest, spending 14 years there before earning a £47.5million Spurs move during the summer.

Tonight marked his first appearance against his old side after becoming a regular in Ange Postecoglou's starting XI.

But Johnson's evening ended in disaster as he barely lasted 30 minutes at his former stomping ground.

As Tottenham defended their box from a bouncing ball and several Forest players, Johnson ended up being clattered in a brutal collision.

The versatile attacker collapsed to the floor as stars from both sides called for a medic.

And as Johnson was being treated, blood could be seen pouring from his head.
