Who are BGT semi-finalists Troll Dancers? Meet Britain’s Got Talent dance act who were described as ‘sparkling’

TROLL Dancers have made it to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent.

Here is everything you need to know about the dance group who are inspired characters from a popular teenies film.

Who are BGT finalists the Troll Dancers?

Troll Dancers are a dance group themed around the Dreamworks movie Trolls.

They are aged between seven and 12 at the time of their audition.

When asked what they would spend the prize money on if they were to win, one member excitedly mentioned buying a mansion, while another dreamt of getting a dog.

For their audition, the group performed an energetic dance routine to "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire, delighting the audience and judges alike.

What did the judges say about Troll Dancers?

"Well, wow! Let's go to Bruno who knows a lot about trolls," Simon Cowell said.

Bruno remarked: "I really wanted to join in," before going on to describe the group as a "Dazzling, sparkling, visual treat".

Simon Cowell added: "I like acts who [are] prepped [and] confident.

"I didn't think it was great... I thought it was brilliant!"

"If I say yes, can she have a dog?" Amanda Holden joked before saying: "She said yes, I say yes."

With all the judges giving their approval, the group received four yeses, sending them through to the next round.

How to watch Troll Dancers on Britain's Got Talent?

The semi-finals kicked off on Monday, May 27, 2024, and will run until Saturday, June 1, 2024.

You can watch the action on these days from 8pm on ITV and ITVX.

Troll Dancers will perform on May 29, 2024.

They will be competing against:

  • Singing group Rask AI
  • Singer Sydnie Christmas.
  • Extreme pogo stick performer Duncan Murray.
  • Sword swallower Heather Holliday.
  • Magic act Magicians Assemble.
  • Singer Mike Woodhams.

There also isn't long to wait until the big BGT final.

The finalists will get to perform one final time on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

The live show will start at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
