Arsenal vs Luton LIVE: Gunners aiming to go top of Premier League with win over beleaguered Hatters – team news, stream

  • Gunners looking to put pressure on

With a three-horse title race, the staggered games in midweek allows Arteta’s side the chance to go top of the table once again.

After their draw with Man City gave Liverpool the chance to leapfrog them, Arsenal will be looking to put the pressure back on.

Only three points will see them overtake Jurgen Klopp’s side.

  • Welcome to Arsenal vs Luton Town

Arsenal welcome Luton Town to The Emirates knowing victory would take them back to the top of the table with Liverpool playing tomorrow.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes all played on the weekend against Man City despite injury doubts but Saka was substituted due to fatigue.

If the trio are fit for this evening, it means that only Jurrien Timber is missing for The Gunners due to injury.

Arteta has a near-enough fully fit squad to pick from for the visit of The Hatters, although the Spaniard may look to rotate his squad.

As for the visitors, Albert Sambi Lokonga will not be eligible to face his parent club although there were doubts on his fitness anyway.

Injury-plagued Luton will be without Tom Lockyer, Amari’I Bell, Marvelous Nakamba, Elijiah Adebayo, Dan Potts, Mads Andersen, Chiedozie Ogbene, Jacob Brown, Gabriel Osho, Reece Burke, Alfie Doughty and Tahith Chong are all likely to miss out.

There is an outside chance that Burke, Doughty and Chong could be fit for the trip to The Emirates.
