Asian airports dominated Skytrax World Airport Awards as Doha Hamad, Tokyo Haneda, Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita completing the top five positions.

Organised by British aviation consultancy Skytrax, the awards were determined by votes cast by air travellers around the world.

Hong Kong’s airport, which came in 11th in 2024 and 33rd in 2023, is among those that have made significant improvements in recent years. It claimed the Airport of the Year title multiple times, but last earned the top prize in 2011.

It also took the third position in Best Airport Staff, fifth in Cleanest Airport, and ninth in Best Airport Shopping.

Changi, meanwhile, was named the World’s Best Airport after coming in second to Hamad International last year. Singapore’s airport has dominated the rankings in recent years, having been in the top spot 10 times since 2013.
