I thrifted a vintage designer coat for $12 – similar styles go for $4k brand new, there’s an issue but I can fix it
A FASHION fan has scored vintage gold in her thrift store.
She spotted a designer coat for a bargain price of $12.
It was a scoop, because similar styles from this fashion house go for $4K brand new.
There was an issue with her pre-loved item, but she was not worried.
She figured she could easily fix that without breaking the bank.
Shelby Alexis (@shelbyalexis) could not stop grinning as she showed off her new purchase.
She shares her love of lifestyle and beauty on her TikTok.
“Friends, can we please take a minute to look at this coat," she said in her post.
She was modelling her thrift find and it fitted her perfectly.
“Come on. It's vintage Giorgio Armani, made in Italy," she gushed.
The long, charcoal gray coat was made of luxurious cashmere.
“Guess how much it cost?" she challenged viewers.
It set her back a crazy $12 and Armani are selling similar woolen coats for an even crazier $4,250.
There was a small issue, but she was determined to overcome it.
“The buttons are missing but that’s an easy fix. Buttons are so cheap," she wrote.
“I love it I’m so happy," she said, beaming from ear to ear.
Shelby knew just how she wanted to style it.
“Add leather gloves and fire boots and we got a winner, ladies," she said.
Fans were floored by her find.
