On Thursday's episode of the ITV show. the Islanders had their final romantic dates before Monday's finale.

Usually, the final couples get to experience lavish and luxurious dates, like hot air balloon rides, helicopter tours, oceanfront picnics, and afternoons on luxury yachts.

But this year, it seems the budget was spent elsewhere, and the couples all got a romantic slap-up meal instead.

The boys bought the ingredients for meals while the girls were treated to a pamper session in the dressing room.

The guys then arranged everything and flaunted their adorable setups, making the girls gush —but some viewers had a completely different reaction.

During Sean and Matilda’s date, the candyman decided to whip up a steak and chips meal for them to enjoy.

However, fans quickly noticed that the steak was barely cooked, despite Matilda’s preference for it to be medium rare.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one user said: Someone tell Sean his steak is still alive."

A second echoed: "I can literally hear the cow mooing through the screen from that steak Sean is eating."

Another said: "Sean that steak is NOT medium-rare, that sh*t looks rare. Matter fact, f**k it, it’s blue at this point."

Elsewhere, viewers accused producers of 'scripting' a scene between Joey Essex and Ciaran Davies last night.

The boys went off to the shops to buy some bits for their dates.

However many pointed out that the pair have clashed in recent weeks, especially when they had an explosive row.
