I had the worst hair loss of my life three months ago, people beg for my cures when they see the regrowth
A BEAUTY enthusiast has revealed how she was able to transform her thinning locks in just three months.
She explained that her hair started to fall out heavily as she struggled to manage stress.
Mabel (@xmabelyss) has garnered almost 25,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her favorite skincare products.
She took to the social media platform to reveal how she was able to restore the health of her hair after suffering from extreme shedding.
She shared footage of the large bald patch that she had before seeking medical advice.
“Three months ago I had the worst hair loss of my life,” Mabel said.
“I’ve been dealing with hair loss on and off for the past few years.
"I do live a very stressful life as I’m an entrepreneur and I’m constantly thinking about work.
“In December 2022, I noticed that my hair had been dropping more than usual.
“So three months back I finally went to seek a doctor’s help and I’m currently undergoing treatment.”
Mabel showed herself during a recent visit to her doctor in which they injected a treatment directly into her scalp to stimulate hair growth.
She was told her hair loss was due to stress, hormonal imbalance, and having an excessively oily scalp.
She revealed that her hair has become fuller and the bald patch is no longer visible after making three major lifestyle changes.
“First is diet, make sure you eat balanced meals and enough protein because hair is made of protein,” Mabel said.
“Then is a good old scalp massage which you can do during your shower or when you’re applying your tonics.
“This helps to promote blood circulation and that is vital for ensuring your hair follicles are working as they’re supposed to.
“Next would be a great shampoo because you’re going to be shampooing your hair every single day to avoid clogged hair follicles.
“And since you’re going to be shampooing every day you want to make sure that your shampoo doesn’t contain any harmful ingredients that could potentially dry out your scalp or make it even more oily.”
Mabel revealed she has been using Bee Theory anti-hair loss honey shampoo over the past few months. It is available for around $13 from the 360 Haircare website.
“It does not cause dryness to my scalp or my hair,” she said.
“It also contains great ingredients that are proven to help nourish your scalp and make it healthier so when your new hair grows it can be more strong and durable. It won’t fall so easily.”
Mabel told others who are suffering from hair loss to try her advice to avoid it worsening and requiring expensive treatments in the future.
Over 8,000 people liked the video and took to the comment section thanking her for speaking candidly about her experience.
Many viewers said they had developed a bald patch in the same area and that they were eager to try the tips for themselves.
