Tributes to Daniel Alaby, 5, who was playing in his room with his brother when he vanished as body pulled from Thames
TRIBUTES have flooded in for a five-year-old boy who vanished from his home and was found in the River Thames.
Daniel Alaby disappeared after playing with his brother at 5.30pm.
His family called the police, who conducted a search and pulled him from the river at around 6.30pm.
Daniel, from Bexley, south-east London, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and later pronounced dead.
Floral tributes were left at the scene for Daniel.
One read: "Daniel, sleep peacefully. Thoughts are with your family."

Another said: "Rest in eternal peace little man. Thoughts are with your family at this sad time."
Reverend Sally Willett posted on Facebook: "There will be a book of condolences available for the community to sign, in memory of Daniel Alaby, at West Thamesmead Community Church's Easter Eggstravaganza, at Heronsgate School today, 2-4pm.
"Our deepest sympathy, love and prayers, go out to his family, friends and the community at this tragic time."
Cops administered CPR before the paramedics arrived.
Daniel's family have been made aware and are being supported by police.
There is no evidence to suggest that any other person was involved, the Met said.
A police spokesman told The Sun: "At 6.23pm yesterday, officers looking for Daniel found a child in the river.
"They administered CPR prior to the arrival of an ambulance crew.
"He was taken to hospital in a critical condition but was pronounced dead later that evening.
"His family are being supported by our officers.
"There is no evidence to suggest any other person was involved."
