ITV’s Beat The Chasers was forced to stop the show after a row over a wrong answer erupted between Dom and Mark.

Ultimately, Dom beat all the Chasers and won £50k for charity.

However, The Beast was left raging and demanded that the show be immediately stopped to review the decision.

Dom spoke to the Daily Star about his time on the show and revealed: "I always win those. I love doing quizzes. I travel a lot and read a lot. I'm not stupid.

“I don't know whether they dumb down the questions with celeb versions, they say they don't...

"But what I really liked about beating the chasers was how angry they got. You kind of think 'do they give a s***? It's not their money they're handing over'.

“It certainly wasn't my money either, it was going to charity."

He added: "They started arguing, and they actually had to stop the show.

“And The Beast challenged something and wanted to rethink, and in the end, he lost the judgment, and then they stopped the clock again. I kind of loved that. "

Previously, the quiz show received backlash for allegedly making the questions too easy for the famous contestants after comedian and actor Nish Kumar beat all the chasers and won £25,000.

After the episode aired, fans of the show took to X(Twitter) and complained about the questions, with one viewer saying: "When the contestant gets questions like 'What's the main ingredient of Heinz Ketchup?' of course they're gonna win lol #BeatTheChasers."

Another raged: "F***ing easy questions #BeatTheChasers," while a third said: "That was easy for him #BeatTheChasers."

A third chimed: "Someone already pointing out the easiest ones were easy. #BeatTheChasers."

However, some other viewers complimented the funnyman on his victory on the ITV show as one user pointed out: "Yes, the questions were easy but fair play to him and remember it’s for charity #BeatTheChasers."

Celebrity Beat The Chasers is available to watch on ITVX.
