And now those looking to add new items to their wardrobe will be delighted to hear that the mega retailer is beginning the sale today, February 17th.

Informing other thrifty shoppers, one woman, Angela Louise Fox, took to Facebook where she shared snaps of the cut-price goodies fellow Asda customers will be able to get their hands on.

According to Angela, who is one of the 2.6million members of the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, the supermarket has plenty of items on offer as of this week.

What's more, not only can you buy affordable clothing for kids but even treat yourself to numerous pieces, including the on-trend leopard print dress.

Prices start from just £1 and there’s all things from coats and slippers, to bikinis and knickers that have been slashed.

That’s not all, as there’s also a large selection of nightwear that’s been reduced too, with long sleeve pyjama sets that were once £18, now just £9.

On the lookout for the viral cowboy boots? We reckon this pair of Camel Western Heeled Ankle Boots is the perfect pick - and they're currently selling for just £10, down from £20.

There's also this two-pack of Red/Green Lace Padded T-Shirt Bras that will set you back a mere £8 - however, plenty of sizes are now out of stock, so you may wish to have a browse online right away.

It's also worth checking out the kids' section where parents can find adorable and warm winter jackets for the little ones - many of these will also be going for less than £10.

Another favourite that's almost sold out is the Sage Green Flower Power Zip Up Hoodie and Joggers Set, which is retailing for £7, down from £12.

Angela wrote in the caption of her post: ''Lots of items including winter coats and jumpers, (ideal to put away for next winter) as well as dresses & T-shirts!''

The shopper, who had visited the store's branch in Chatham, Kent, added that the budget-friendly items are ''dotted around in different locations across the shop floor'' - so it's worth to have a good look around to find your bargains.

She went on in the post: ''This is quite a large sale but unfortunately it isn't quite finished yet & there is still a lot that needs scanning and marking down.

''So if you have the ASDA SCAN & GO app on your phone you will be able to check prices of any items that haven't already been marked down!''

According to some customers, the mega sale already launched online yesterday, Sunday 16th February, with many items already 50% off.
