Primark fan transforms kitchen for just £2 – now people are racing to do the same

IF you're a homeowner, then chances are you're familiar with just how expensive it can be to give any room in your house a makeover.

But one savvy woman has revealed the super simple way you can give your kitchen an instant glow up - using a bargain buy from Primark.

And the best part of all? It costs just £2.

In a video shared to TikTok (@miss_kaitlyn_louise), Kaitlyn Louise urged shoppers to "run to Primark."

She can then be seen holding up the 'indoor strip lights' from the high-street store, which are battery-operated and come rolled up in a little flat tape.

All you need to do is simply peel off the back, before sticking them wherever you think they'll work best - in Kaitlyn's case, underneath her kitchen cupboards.

Alongside the post, she penned: "These strip lights are AMAZING!"

"Make sure you grab yourself a bargain next time you’re in @Primark."

The post quickly went viral, racking up a whopping 158k views and several comments from other social media users.

"What length are they? I would love to try these," wrote one.

A second penned: "I have them in my kitchen - they're great and cheap!"

A third commented: "No way, worth a try!"

However, others warned that it's worth noting they do eat up battery juice.

"Does it work on the long term?" asked one.

One replied: "Yeah if you have 1 million batteries."

A further agreed: "Primark light just eats battery - not great!"

And it's not the only reason shoppers have been racing to Primark in recent weeks.

Taking to TikTok (@primarkdartford), Primark's Dartford branch took to social media and shared a video of the 'Patterned Fleece Pyjama Set'- and they've all been slashed in price.

Alongside the video, it says: "Are you cold? Our £8 fluffies on this table have gone down to £4."

Primark captioned the post: "Perfect for the cold weather - loads available but wont last long."
