I’m a 30-year-old gypsy who’s never been married -I get so much stick for it, but I don’t think there’s any need to rush
AN UNMARRIED gypsy girl has revealed that people in her community have criticised her for being single, but she thinks there's no need to rush to find a man.
30-year-old Charlotte Ann shared the revelation via a video posted to her TikTok channel, where she is known as @charlotteann00.
The TikToker often uses the account to share the cultural differences between travellers and country folk (non-gypsies).
He videos are extremely popular with TikTok users and she has amassed almost 160,000 followers on the video sharing platform.
In the video, Charlotte Ann explained that she gets an "unbelievable" amount of stick for the fact that she has never been married.
She said that the criticism comes from members of her own community, as travellers traditionally marry a lot younger than country people.

Charlotte Ann said that people have even gone as far as to go on TikTok live and proclaim that she will never be able to get a man.
The TikToker, who calls herself Queen Boujie, added that it is not just her that receives this criticism, but any gypsy girl over the age of 23 who has chosen to stay at home.
However, she has not let the haters get her down and proudly exclaimed that she does not feel in any rush to get married.
Charlotte Ann said that no woman should go chasing after a man, and should instead respect herself.
She said that people think that there is something wrong with her because she is unmarried, but that that is not the case.
"Why can't you just be single and be at home?", she said.
Charlotte Ann said that she will not settle for anything less than she deserves and would rather wait for a good husband than just get married for the sake of it.
"Girls are peer pressured into getting married, just to say that they're married because of their age", she said.
"But there's no time limit.
"It's better to be on your own and happy than in a relationship for the wrong reasons".
Addressing single girls in the traveller community, Charlotte Ann added that they should not let people make them feel bad about their marital status.
She said that having a career and a life is more important than rushing into a marriage.
"I'm at home living a very good life, and one day, if there's a man good enough to get Queen Boujie and put a ring on it, it'll happen.
"But until that day, I'm going to live my best life, and I encourage you to do the same".
Charlotte Ann's video has likely left many open-mouthed, as it has racked up almost 30,000 views in just a few hours.
TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on Charlotte Ann's video.
One user said: "As you said respect starts with yourself, you are not defined by your marital status.
"You are beyond more than that.
"You are right to not settle for anything less!"
Another user added: "Took me 26 years to meet a good man.
"I'm now engaged and happier than ever.
