Britain’s most successful female Olypmian ‘set for Strictly’ as bosses eye her up for next series
STRICTLY bosses are reportedly in talks to sign up Dame Laura Kenny after the nation fell in love with the Olympic legend.
And the sports star has plenty of free time to take part after she recently retired from cycling.
A source told The Mirror: “Laura is Britain’s most successful female Olympian, with five gold medals.
"She’s been branded the ultimate signing for Strictly.
"She has a huge fanbase in the sports world and also has a very emotional backstory – the nation loves Laura."
The star was born prematurely and spent the first weeks of her life in a hospital incubator after life saving surgery.

Laura and husband Jason are Team GB's most-decorated Olympians.
The couple have two boys called Monty and Albie, with the latter arriving in July.
She won the first of her five Olympics gold medals at London 2012, before she went on to win another in the omnium..
The cycling legend was aiming for a sixth gold medal at the games in Paris this summer.
In November, she announced that she was planning a shock return to try and compete at Paris.
But she then decided to call time on her illustrious career after giving birth last summer to her second child.
Announcing her retirement, Laura said: "Thank you, cycling, for everything you’ve given me – including a husband and our growing family.
"Having people say I have inspired women and girls to get active and get on a bike means the world to me."
