Abandoned dealership found with ‘foil-wrapped’ cars with just 2 MILES on the clock…& they’re all the same iconic model
AN ABANDONED car dealership has been discovered with a bunch of classic cars from the 80s - and all of them are as good as new.
The former Ford showroom in Bavaria, Germany, was left to rot after its owner Josef Stock died in 1994.
Since then, the dealership in the industrial area of Ingolstadt has appeared almost ghostly, with a fleet of more than 300 cars waiting to be sold.
Until a few years ago, Josef's widow lived and looked after the dealership - and she eventually sold almost all the cars as "classic pieces" to motor enthusiasts.
However, six of them - the almost new Fords - remained in the shop window.
According to the locals, these cars were intended for the owner's grandchildren and can still be seen through the huge glass panes at the dealership.

The six Fords date back to the early 90s, and are finished with different paint jobs.
Over the years these cars have collected a solid layer of thick dust, but otherwise are in pristine condition.
The car seats are still wrapped in plastic and sales stickers on the side advertise the motors as new.
Even the odometres on a few of them read just two miles.
A car expert told Bild: "The MOT has expired for decades, who knows if the cars still run.
"You would have to spend a lot of time bringing it to a new general inspection."
All the original Ford advertising pictures still hang on the walls of the former dealership.
Even some tools and spare parts from the day can be seen lying all around.
However, some life has returned to the place after The Ingolstadt City Museum rented the rooms of the dealership as a prop storage facility.
Meanwhile, an explorer gave his YouTube viewers a behind-the-scenes look at an iconic scrapyard full of stunning motors, just weeks before it's set to close its doors.
Colin Smith, known for his YouTube channel The Bearded Explorer, was invited to visit G&R Harris Modern Car Spares & Late Salvage - a beloved car parts yard in Nutbourne, near Chichester, which is set to close after more than 70 years in business.
Inside the breakers yard is a treasure trove of motors old and new.
They include a sporty Fiat 500 Abarth, Porsche Cayenne, Peugeot 306, Mercedes-Benz SLK, an old taxi and even a Bentley Continental GT.
Colin said the scrapyard has different sections, as the YouTuber begins his video with the "higher-end value cars" - including a group of Range Rovers.
Another iconic British classic car was found abandoned by an enthusiast who said the condition it was left in is "heartbreaking".
