Stretching across 75,000 square metres, it boasts 51 slides and the world's third-biggest wave pool.

One great spot for little kids is Fantasy Island, which is great for two to eight-year-olds.

It has shallow waters, measuring up to 30cm deep and offers lots of different pirate-themed water obstacles.

For bigger kids who like a thrill, there is 'Black Hole' - a pitch black water ride.

The waterpark will reopen on May 11, for the season.

But Aqualand Resort has recently gotten an upgrade to its own facilities including its wave pool.

Across the resort, there are three pools to pick from - one with lots of sunbeds for lounging, one wave pool and one kids' pool.

For something to eat, there are plenty of dining options including an international buffet, an ice cream parlour and three bars.

The hotel includes TUI Kids' Club, where parents can unwind and relax whilst their little ones stay amused with a range of activities and themed sessions.

The resort has been completely renovated for the 2025 season, with rooms getting luxury makeovers.

Europe's largest indoor waterpark opens new attraction

The wave pool has also been completely refurbished with new specifications making it more safe and fun.

In addition to the renovated facilities, the resort also has shops onsite, a 'Teen Zone' with an internet corner, video arcade, billiards, lounge area and TVs, an ATM, a pharmacy just 0.3km away, and a gym.

For adults looking for some alone time, there is also a spa and a number of activities classes available to partake in, such as Aqua Zumba and Karaoke.

The resort is just 8km from the airport and 5km from the beach.

Guests will also be allowed unlimited access to Aqualand Waterpark next door, which is equally impressive with 51 slides, a number of pools and a variety of thrilling water-based rides including a hydrotube and kamikazes.

Beyond the water-based attractions, Corfu has plenty of other destinations to explore.

The island is different whether you are in the north or south part - with the north being more mountainous and the south fairly flat.

The beaches on the northeast coast tend to feature more pebbles and are smaller in size than on the northern 'top' of the island, where the beaches are long and sandy.

The south is home to the longest and sandiest beaches though, some of which are nearly two miles long.

Corfu Old Town is also special to see.

Protected by two fortresses which were built by the Venetians, the Old Town features historic narrow alleys, marble steps, plazas and secret gardens with blooming flowers.

It takes around three-and-a-half hours to fly to Corfu from the UK, and return flights for May can be found as low as £60.

Once at the airport, it takes only 16 minutes driving to reach Aqualand Resort.
