NTAs fans blast Olly Murs’ performance and claim sound was ‘terrible’
OLLY Murs surprised viewers of this year's National Television Awards with a medley - but not everyone was impressed.
The Troublemaker singer jumped on stage midway through the ceremony for a performance, which began with a clip of his 2009 X Factor audition.
But as the new dad belted out hits including Troublemaker and Heart Skips A Beat, some fans found themselves wincing at the sound quality.
Complaining on social media, they hit out at ITV for the blunder.
One wrote on X: "Producer: Let’s have Olly Murs do a medley of his hits! Fellow Producer: And saddle him with terrible sound? Producer: Naturally."
Another added: "The sound is terrible… #NTAs."

Olly, 40, performed at the National Television Awards to mark 15 years in the music industry.
During his show-stopping medley, he even jumped off the stage at London's O2 Arena and headed into the star-studded crowd.
The cheeky Essex lad then sat in the laps of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who sang happily along with him.
He then jumped back on stage for a dramatic finale, which ended with fireworks going off.
Not everyone complained, though. Some fans were thrilled to be treated to a performance from Olly.
"I do love me some Olly Murs!" one delighted viewer posted online.
Another chimed in: "That was a great performance from Olly Murs right there!!!"
This year's National Television Awards was packed with stars from the small screen.
Holly Willoughby made her big comeback almost a year after she quit This Morning.
The star dazzled on the red carpet before joining host Joel Dommett onstage to present an award.
