I’m a lazy mum & my car’s gone mouldy – people judge me but now my motor is spotless using £2.50 ‘magic sponge’

A SO called "lazy mum" who feared people would judge her because of a mouldy car has scrubbed it spotless with a £2.50 magic sponge.

When the storm eventually passed in the Pacific North West Amanda found that her car was riddled with mould and grime.

In a TikTok video Amanda revealed that she used a Scrub Daddy Original sponge to help gut the car, which costs £2.50 at Sainsbury's.

She also used a steam cleaner to clean the car, when soup appeared to come out of the seats. She joked if people wanted to come over to her house for dinner that night.

During the deep clean Amanda also found the remnants of an old danish pastry in her glove box.

She said that the Scrub Daddy product was particularly useful for scrubbing down the central console area of the car, which was covered in grime.

Amanda posted before and after pictures which illustrated the radical transformation after the deep clean.

In the clip, the mum-of-two said: "My car is basically like a huge trash can, I found raw hamburger meat that's been in here for at least three weeks.

"There was mould growing on almost every single surface of my car, piles and piles of trash and a cucumber that's been here so long it's almost disintegrated.

"Look, you can judge me if you want, I have not opened my car door in three weeks."

"I am the mouldy woman, the lazy mum," she added.

Fans of influencer Mrs Hinch, have discovered a brilliant spray that costs just £8 and completely stops your car windows from fogging.

When you're driving, windows fogging up can be pretty annoying and possibly dangerous.

It's especially frustrating if you have to wait to defog your car window in the morning during winter and you're late for work.

However, after a recommendation, Mrs Hinch fans have said Halford's £8 spray Rain-X Anti-Fog spray eliminates the problem, Manchester Evening News reports.

Posting on a Mrs Hinch fans Facebook page, Katie Rainbow said: "Little tip for those who have problems like myself with drowned windows in the cold mornings.
