KING Charles has undergone treatment for an enlarged prostate and is "doing well", sources said.
Charles, 75, was seen entering The London Clinic on Friday morning with the Queen at his side.
As her Majesty left the private hospital in central London this afternoon she told reporters: "He's fine, thank you."
The Monarch appeared in good spirits as he was driven to the hospital this morning.
He is understood to have visited the Princess of Wales, who is there recovering from an abdominal surgery, before he had his op.
The mum-of-three is expected to continue her recovery at the clinic for the next few days.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: “The King was this morning admitted to a London hospital for scheduled treatment.
“His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week and is delighted to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness.”
It is not known how long Charles will spend in hospital or the exact nature of his treatment.
