EASTENDERS star Shona McGarty looked very different from her Albert Square character as she showcased her blonde hair transformation.
Shona, 31, revealed a few months ago that she would be quitting the show after playing the role of Whitney for 15 years.
The soap star showed off her blonde locks after undergoing a makeup and hair revamp this week.
She posed in the salon chair and smiled at the camera.
Shona captioned it: "'A blonde walks into a bar….'"
Many fans were quick to comment on her new look with some fans comparing her to EastEnders legend Letitia Dean.

One wrote: "Sharon's long lost sister."
A second posted: "Blonde really suits you," but not all fans were keen and this person said: "I hope that's a wig."
While someone else gushed: "Gorgeous, blonde is your colour."
The EastEnders star was only 16 when she first got cast, and will be giving her character a big send off with a shocking pregnancy storyline.
Walford locals Whit and Zack Hudson (played by James Farrar) have been trying to have a baby for a long time.
Whitney previously had to terminate a pregnancy after finding out her baby girl suffered from Edwards' Syndrome.
This meant little Peach would not have survived long after birth.
The market trader was left devastated by her loss, and swore she would never try and have a biological child again.
However, Whitney and Zack were left delighted that they had fallen pregnant.
But tragedy may strike as new pictures revealed a heavily pregnant Whitney being mowed down by a car in a first look.
The star has been pictured filming what could be her final ever scenes on the BBC show alongside co-stars Natalie Cassidy, James Farrar and returning show legend Patsy Palmer.
