A GARDENING whizz has revealed a £12 trick which will instantly give your outdoor space a glow up.
As Brits officially enter the Summer season, most of those who have gardens will be looking to spend a bit more time outside to enjoy the warmer temperatures.
And creating an outdoor space, which is comfortable to relax in and lovely to look at will be top priority for Brits at this moment in time.
But hiring a gardener, or attempting to renovate it yourself can be costly - which may be impossible for some due to the cost of living crisis.
However, one gardening fan, who wrote for sgs-engineering, has revealed a tip which will save you from having to fork out on new furniture or building a new patio in order to change the look of your garden.
They explained that those who have a garden just need to be “creative” when it comes to upgrading their outdoor spaces this summer.

First they started off by saying that the garden needs to be evaluated first, to determine which areas “require the most improvement.”
Take note if there have been stubborn weeds which have taken over, or perhaps the lawn needs cutting - especially if it has been abandoned during the winter months.
The gardening whizz explains that it is best to make a list of jobs first and order them by priority.
They said that this will help to prevent overspending on jobs that aren’t “necessarily important or won’t have loads of impact.”
It is also a step to determine your budget.
One tip in particular is to focus on the compost which will allow your plants to have all the nutrients they need - and this can be done at home.
Compost helps your plants and is also a “great way to address food waste” in the household.
They said: “To create your own compost some of the best materials you can easily find around your kitchen include fruit scraps, coffee grounds, dry leaves and vegetable scraps.
“Whenever you start making your own compost just remember not to add any leftover meat, dairy's, cheese or pet waste as these can not only create unpleasant odours but can also contain harmful diseases.”
This trick is super cheap, and all gardening fans will need to do is invest in a small compost bin which can cost as little as £2.80 from Dunelm stores.

Another gardening professional has revealed an easy hack - which costs pennies.
Laura Harnett, a gardening professional at eco-cleaning brand Seep, says that using an old copper scourer will do just the trick.

The chemical free trick will help to deter slugs, as they “hate the metal, as it gives them a small and harmless shock when they come into contact with it.”
She says: “Instead of buying expensive copper tape for your pots and plants, simply unravel your copper pan scourer when it’s no longer useful and this will have the same effect."
