Crash closes two lanes of M25 near Heathrow Airport with long delays causing traffic chaos

A CRASH has caused two lanes of the M25 to close near Heathrow Airport.

The accident has sparked potential chaos for travellers making their way to the airport - and "long delays" for nearby drivers.

It took place around the A31113 Airport Way at Junction 14, which leads to the airport.

The delays are affecting drivers going anticlockwise on the M25 between Junction 14 and Junction 13.

Queues are also in place going clockwise from Junction 13 to Junction 15.

Disruption can be seen up to Junction 18, Chorleywood - with drivers also warned to expect stand-still traffic as they go back past the M40.

Traffic monitoring service Inrix : “Long delays due to earlier accident on M25 anticlockwise from J14 A3113 Airport Way (Heathrow) to J13 A30 (Staines).

“Congestion to J17 Maple Cross, back past the M40. Clockwise queues from J13 Staines to J15 M4."
