Radio 1 star Greg James quietly removes Gregg Wallace from Breakfast Show amid misconduct claims

GREGG Wallace has been quietly removed from the opening section Radio 1's flagship Breakfast Show.

The longtime MasterChef star, 60, has stepped down from the BBC show following allegations he made "sexual comments to 13 colleagues."

On The Breakfast Show, Greg James typically began the programme with a soundbite of Gregg saying: "Fire 'em up, let's go!"

Today, the broadcast instead played a clip of Daniel Craig speaking on US sketch series Saturday Night Live.

The actor can be heard saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, the weekend."

TV presenter Gregg allegedly made sexual remarks to 13 colleagues including Beeb presenter Kirsty Wark.

Having co-hosted MasterChef since 2005, he was forced to quit the role amid a BBC probe.

The Sun revealed how he previously came under fire after "inappropriate sexual comments" were reportedly made to a female staffer on Impossible Celebrities.

Meanwhile, 13 people who worked with Gregg across a range of shows over a 17-year period have now accused him of making sexual comments, the BBC confirmed.

Former Celebrity MasterChef star Aasmah Mir shared a cryptic post on X.

The Times Radio presenter, who competed in 2017, penned: "Always keep your receipts."

Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby accused Gregg of being "extremely unpleasant" to her when she starred in the BBC series.

Singer Rod Stewart also shared a scathing post on social media.

He penned: "So Gregg Wallace gets fired from MasterChef. Good riddance Wallace.

"You humiliated my wife when she was on the show, buy you had that bit cut out didn't you?

"You're a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully.

"Karma got ya."

Taking to Instagram, Gregg broke his silence in a video shared on Thursday evening.

He said in the clip: "I would like to thank all the people getting in touch, reaching out and showing their support.

"That's good of you, thank you very much."

It comes as Gregg has also been dropped from an autism charity following the accusations.

He was announced as an ambassador for Ambitious about Autism two years ago.

His son Sid, now four, was diagnosed with the condition.

An Ambitious about Autism spokesperson told The Sun: "In light of recent allegations, we are no longer working with Gregg Wallace.

"We have let him know our decision and thanked him for his support of our work over the last two years."
