He was joined by two other men wearing white shirts.

The game was then delayed by two minutes as Wembley security removed the men from the field.

TNT coverage then cut away from showing the pitch invaders during the coverage.

Both Carlo Ancelotti and Edin Terzic could only look on in annoyance as they waited for the game to resumed.

One of the men that stormed the pitch had attempted to take a selfie with Real Madrid and Brazil superstar Vinicius Jr.

One pitch invader ran past Courtois before security could get to him.

When he reached near the centre-circle, he was apprehended by security.

Former Manchester United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer aided in tackling the pitch-invader to the ground.

Fans on X loved Sabitzer's intervention, with one saying: "Sabitzer getting involved with the pitch invaders?"

Another said: "Sabitzer apparently tackling one of the pitch invaders. I actually love that man."

A third said: "Marcel Sabitzer already getting his tackles in, just ignore the fact it's on the general public."
