I’m a real-life Rapunzel and can even turn my locks into a ‘hair bra’ for my boyfriend – it took 10 years to grow

A REAL-LIFE Rapunzel has revealed how she can turn her long locks into a hair BRA.

Molly explained that her boyfriend had recently told her that he "loves when I wear bralettes", so she decided to give him a little treat by making "one from scratch" with her flowing locks.

"First, I decided to grow out my hair long enough to do this, and that took about 10 years," she said in a video on her TikTok page.

She then explained how she was going to make the bra, starting with a Dutch braid on the side, which would form the "base for the rest of the look".

"I'm braiding down normally, but I'm gonna stop right about here so that we can construct the first cup," she said.

"I'm adding two small braids in the middle of these two sections that I sectioned out."

She used a tool to weave in some more sections of hair, before using a basket weave to tie together all of the sections inside the two braids.

"After doing this, it starts to come together, and then we have to start on the other side," she said.

By that point, she admitted she was "sweating", but connected the front to the back to "see what I'm working with".

"I'm going to take two pieces and twist them in the front, connecting them to the pieces that will be pulled to the back," she said.

"Now just secure it, and you have your homemade bralette made from scratch!"

People were quick to comment on the video, with many insisting the look would go down a treat at a music festival.

"Okay but at a festival this would eat," one wrote.

"That’ll be the best on Coachella though," another added.

"Influencers will ask you where you got them!"

"This is exactly how I’d imagine mermaids to style their hair/make clothes," a third said.

As someone else wrote: "Finally an original experience!"

"I have never been more impressed and intrigued by something in my life," another praised.

While others admitted their own body shapes would make it impossible for them to recreate Molly's hair bra.

"I wear a K cup. I think I’d have to grow my hair for 20 years," one wrote.

"My hair is so thin I’d be arrested," another laughed.

"Unfortunately, I am carrying around Certified Bazookas," a third commented.

"But I appreciate this nonetheless!"
