In a conversation about the unique journeys of fatherhood, Ollie told Boots presents Taboo Talk: "We got a phonecall at 4.30am after he was born was to say he wasn't doing very well.

"He was rushed from Durham to Sunderland blue-lit because he wasn't breathing.

"It was one of those moments in life that you never want, you never want to have that phonecall.

"That was one of the hardest moments of my life."

Ollie described how his son dealt with the health battle - and how it reflects his personality six months on.

"He's a stubborn little b*****," laughed Ollie.

"He's always been like that - from day one, from that moment - he's always been the laziest boy in the world.

"So when he got to Sunderland, the tube was put down into his throat and into his lungs and he looked and thought 'no thank you very much'. He ripped it out and started to breathe normally.

"He's a real pain in the a***. I love him but, she's really chilled and he's really hard work."

Ollie joined EastEnders actor James Bye and host Vogue Williams to break taboos by discussing out-dated notions, stigmas and stereotypes.

Thankfully, baby Apollo made a full recovery and was soon reunited with his twin sister Cosima.

Appearing on the latest episode of Boots presents Taboo Talk titled Dad diaries: Telling it how it really is with Ollie Locke and James Bye, the fathers delivered honest and open stories, some laughs and practical tips to help listeners thrive on their own dad journeys.
