POP superstar Beyonce shows how she rose to fame — as she becomes the first black woman to top the country charts.
The singer, 42, posed in a wire bodice covered in blooms in this striking shot from Essence magazine’s March/April issue.
In it, she talks about her hair care regime and is pictured with her mum Tina tending her tresses alongside daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi.
Beyonce has made history by hitting No 1 in the US Hot Country Songs chart, with her new track Texas Hold ’Em.
She is set to release an entire album of country music next month.
Bey opened up to the mag about her hair routine after launching her own hair care brand Cécred.

She said: “It’s all about moisture for me.
“Adding oil to my scalp and covering my hair at night so the oils could penetrate.
“It brings back such great memories of my rituals as a child to maintain a healthy scalp.”
Recently Beyonce wore all red during a Valentine's Day date night.
The superstar shone in a short red PVC skirt, leather trench coat, skintight top, and heels, while out with rapper husband Jay-Z.
She topped it off with a red velvet cowgirl hat.
