Sean Stone dead at 31: Hollywood producer who worked with Bruce Willis and John Travolta dies after colon cancer battle

HOLLYWOOD producer Sean Stone, who worked with stars like Bruce Willis and John Travolta has died at 31.

Sean was diagnosed with metastatic neuroendocrine cancer of the colon in July.

Sean died Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, his family told The Hollywood Reporter.

He was a creative executive on multiple features released in 2022, including action thriller Hot Seat, starring Mel Gibson; Wrong Place, starring Bruce Willis and producer on the soon-to-be released John Travolta movie Cash Out.

The New Jersey native graduated from the University of Arizona before moving to Los Angeles in 2017.

After working at famed talent agency CAA, he eventually transitioned to executive producer on multiple projects.

Singer and vocal coach Debra Byrd also died on Tuesday.

The 72-year-old star, who worked on hit shows such as The Voice and American Idol, died at her Los Angeles home.

Debra's cause of death has not been confirmed yet, according to Deadline.

Several celebrities, including long-time friend and colleague, Barry Manilow, have led touching tributes following Debra's death.

Barry shared an emotional post on his social media.

"This is one of the saddest days of my life. I just can’t wrap my mind around the fact that Debra is no longer with me," he wrote.

"She was one of the most wonderful friends I’ve ever had. I will miss you forever, my love."

Debra had worked with several other huge stars, including Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, and Bob Dylan.
