Six of EastEnders' matriarchs will be involved in a Christmas Day murder.

The soap has already confirmed that Sharon, Linda, Suki, Stacey, Denise and Kathy are all in the frame.

And in the last week bosses have revealed either Phil Mitchell, Keanu Taylor, Jack Branning, Ravi Gulati, Nish Panesar, Dean Wicks and Rocky Cotton will meet their fate.

The hunky mechanic Keanu is set to marry Sharon Watts in Christmas Day nuptials.

But eagle-eyed fans have spotted an interesting clue from Keanu's stag do in Wednesday's episode.

As he celebrated with the men of Walford, a banner behind them read "Hello Wife. Goodbye Life."

With Sharon also keeping secret that Keanu isn't Albie's biological dad, viewers are convinced he's the murder victim.

Taking to social media, one fan said: "Keanu is killed at Christmas."

A second posted: "Keanu is the dead body. Change my mind..."

"Even though Danny Waters has been seen on location supposing the idea he's still filming, he could've been asked to come along to mislead the press #EastEnders has done similar things before," said a third.

EastEnders continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
