I bought a £25 wedding dress from TikTok Shop, it was really well made, fit me like a glove & had beautiful lace detail
WHEN you think of a bride choosing the wedding dress she’ll walk down the aisle in, you imagine the pound signs.
But now one woman has shared how she bagged a dream wedding dress for a very impressive £25.
Christina Blaney proved to be quite the savvy shopper when she nabbed three bargain gowns from TikTok shop, which were all under the £40 mark.
She then waited for her fashion haul to arrive and filmed herself trying each of them on – and giving her all-important verdict.
And Christina, whose TikTok profile is @christinatblaney, said there was a clear runaway winner that ticked all of the boxes, and fitted her like a glove too.
The dress priced at just £25, was simple but sophisticated and featured two intricately designed straps, a plunging V-neckline and a fitted waist with a pretty flowing skirt.
Modelling the look, Christina explained: “It’s got this large white satin underskirt and a couple of layers on the top.
“And then it has a white lace top bit with straps.”
Admiring how she looked in the white number, Christina gave it the thumbs up as she spun around to capture a different angle.
The social media user continued: “The back of it is absolutely beautiful with this gorgeous pointing down back bit there.”
She then moved closer to the camera to capture the lace details on the two straps.
And giving her overall review, Christina said she was a big fan and only needed a couple of tweaks to make it even more perfect.
She added:“This one is actually really well made.
“For £25 with an underskirt puffing it out, it’d be absolutely beautiful.”
But it wasn’t just Christina who was impressed with the dress in question.
One of her 210k followers dubbed the gown “gorgeous” and said it “looked more expensive”.
At the same time, another fan added: “It’s stunning, looks a lot more expensive. Very pretty.”
And a third said: “[That dress] is adorable!”
The other items in her TikTok shop haul included the ‘Emily dress’, which, at £39.99, was “the most expensive of the bunch.”
It featured two thin spaghetti straps with a lace bodice and a more floaty, tulle skirt and underskirt.
Christina said the “gorgeous” lace up back design was her favourite part of the dress, but that some of its other features were less than desirable, including the slightly mismatched colour.
A £24.20 floor-length number with lace-detail long sleeves also failed to live up to the £25 gown.
But Christina said that it was super comfortable and that with a bit of tailoring to make it fit right it could be a good contender.
