The Warrington ace, a Man Utd super-fan, showed off the silverware to the 75,000-strong crowd at half-time, with the score at 1-1.

Littler walked to the edge of the half-way line pitch-side and lifted the Sid Waddell Trophy three times above his head.

The United faithful serenaded him with his iconic chant, while TV cameras zoomed in.

Littler then gave one final lift, turning to both the Stretford End and East End before heading back to his seat.
