PSV vs Arsenal LIVE: Score and updates as Gunners take on Dutch side in the first leg of Champions League last-16

THE CHAMPIONS!

Evening and welcome all to the first set of matches of Champions League Round of 16 action!

Arsenal kick-off their knockout campaign by travelling to the Dutch champions PSV in a game that has taken on more importance in the passing weeks.

The Gunners are striker-less and, in the process look to end the season title-less, again. Mikel Arteta’s men trail league-leaders, Liverpool, by an increasingly-unsoumantable 13 points and will hope that the shift to European football offers respite and opportunity to a run of form of two wins in their last five.

The same case can be argued for their Dutch counterparts, who have stuttered under the dogmatic Peter Bosz. Eindhoven waltzed to the league last year, but face an uphill battle to regain their spot at the top of the Eredivisie with a revitalized Ajax storming in recent weeks.

For both, Champions League duties is a distinct reminder to the yesteryears where the two were THE feared sides in Europe - whether that's the Treble-wining side headed by Guus Hiddink or the early 2000s under Arsène Wenger that relished visits to the Bernabéu - nowadays it’s about getting back there, tonight provides the clearest of chances.

To add more glitz to the night, we’ve got updates coming from the Madrid derby as Real and Atlético dust-up and Dortmund vs Lille. Kick-off for all three games at 8pm GMT, team news to come.
