Dentist shares the ‘fake & square’ £4k smile he’s given to a man but instantly gets slammed as ‘Jim Carrey in The Mask’
A DENTAL pro has been brutally mocked after people said he had left his client looking like Jim Carrey in the cult classic, The Mask.
The beauty whizz, only known as Dr Phil, from Leeds, shared the smile makeover on TikTok - however, it seems that it's gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
At the start of the video, which has already racked up a whopping 1.1million views in less than 24 hours, Dr Phil could be seen showing what his client's gnashers looked like before the transformation.
The guru, who posts under the username @drphilend, had promised the young bloke to change his already white teeth in just ''four hours'', aiming for a ''fake and square look''.
Rather than opting for the so-called Turkey teeth - which left one man looking like ''Baby Shark'' - the dental pro spruced up the smile with nanofill composite bonding.
According to Dr Phil, there procedure comes with a ''plethora of benefits'', as it's non-invasive and there rarely is a need for initial preparation to speed up the process - contrary to the popular Turkey teeth which require filling down your real gnashers.

The four-hour makeover, which cost the bloke close to £4k, started with cleaning the teeth and roughening them up using a special blue gel.
After the treatment had been on for a minute, the beauty guru washed it off and let the teeth dry to ensure they're ''ready'' for the next part.
This involved covering the teeth in glue and setting it with blue light before applying composite to the edge of the gnashers - this was to achieve that ''square'' smile the bloke was after.
''We tend to build the teeth out like this so that by the time we cut the tooth back, it is really highly polished, leaving you with that super sparkly smile.
''We repeat the process on the rest of the teeth which means we can achieve super predictable results.''
Checking out his masterpiece, Dr Phil, who had repeated the ''same process'' for every tooth, said: ''Wow! An amazing result!''
However, whilst the young client in his video indeed appeared to be all over the moon with his new ''fake'' smile, the reaction online was slightly different.
More than a thousand people flocked to comments, where they said his natural smile before the makeover was ''perfect'' as it is.
Someone wrote: ''He had such nice teeth.''
Another was totally baffled, wondering: ''Why would people do this?''
''Ok fine I’ll rewatch the mask,'' chimed in another who reckoned the ''square'' teeth looked a lot like Jim Carrey's smile in the cult classic comedy.
A professional penned: ''As an ortho nurse, we have patients after 2+ years absolutely delighted with his "before". Looks like dentures!!''
A mortified TikTok user, meanwhile, described the final result as ''piano keys''.

Luckily for Dr Phil, however, there were also a few kind comments, such as this one: ''His teeth were good yes but bonding make them look better and symmetrical.''
''I need this,'' someone else wanted a brand new smile.
