I’m plus-size and tested high-street’s leather leggings – a £19 pair from Tesco get a 10 out of 10 from me
A PLUS-SIZE woman has tested the high-streets’s leather leggings and has given her verdict on the ones to nab and the trousers to leave on the shelf.
While she was very impressed with a pair from Tesco, she was very disappointed with some trousers from Next.
Sharing her thoughts on social media, the woman, who posts under the name ‘Lux Island’ wrote: “Trying and reviewing leather leggings.”
The brunette beauty first tried on a pair of leather leggings from Matalan Curve, costing £17.
Although she initially struggled to get them on, once in, she then beamed: “Very nice fit!”
The next pair the fashionista tried were “more of a leather trouser”, from F&F.

The fashion fan was very impressed with the £19.50 Tesco buy and gave them a 10 out of 10 rating for comfort.
Following this, the woman tried on a pair of size 18 leather leggings from New Look.
Very impressed, she beamed: “So delicious. The absolute best. Smooth like butter.”
After this, the body positive babe tried on a £28 pair from Next.
But she wasn’t too impressed, as she explained: “Not much stretch at all…very hard to zip up.
The size 18 fashionista then admitted: “Okay…they didn’t actually zip up?”
As she danced around, she also added: “They also roll down.”
Not only this, but the woman then tried on a £16 pair from George at Asda.
However, things unfortunately didn’t get any better, as she was clearly not impressed, as she explained: “Not for me…
“Not much stretch.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @lux_island, has clearly left many impressed, as it has quickly amassed 20,000 views.
Social media users took to the comments, eager to reveal where they buy their leather leggings from.
One person said: “Marks and Spencer leather look leggings are amazing.”
Another added: “I cheated and got maternity ones lol there so comfy!”
Whilst a third asked: “So which ones did we say were best, I got lost watching your facial expressions.”
