Shoppers racing to Asda to stock up on trendy sock boots scanning for just £7 at the till – but you’ll need to be quick

BOOT season isn’t over yet - especially since the Met Office has warned Brits to brace for thunderstorms this weekend.

And as if by a beautiful strike of luck, Asda has reduced a number of trendy pairs to less than a tenner as part of its spring clothing sale.

Eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted £23 Boots hanging on George rails for just £7. 

What’s more, this is their second reduction, having first been slashed to £12. 

One shopper took to Facebook to alert other fashion fans to the reductions. 

They spotted numerous pairs of Asda’s Black Faux Leather Sock Boots in one of the supermarket’s London stores. 

The £7 kicks have rave reviews online too, with shoppers dubbing them “comfortable, trendy and versatile”. 

“I’m so impressed with these boots,” one said.

“I’m really impressed with the quality and they’re really comfy. 

“Compared to other similar styles on the market, you cannot fault these for the amazing price.”

Also reduced to £7 from £23 is George at Asda’s Black Chunky Chelsea Sock Boots.

These ankle-height kicks have been praised for looking “more expensive than they actually are”. 

“I’ve worn these boots in all weathers and stayed totally dry,” one professional dog walker beamed. 

“They feel great around the ankles and are all round a lovely chunky boot.”

“These are fantastic for the price,” another buyer echoed.

“They’re better than a lot of sock boots as they have the full structure of a boot, just the top part is sock. 

“They’re really flattering on the legs with any outfit.”

This weekend will be cold and cloudy for most Brits, with scattered showers in many parts.
