Hong Kong school bus driver in hospital after passing out at wheel, crashing into Tesla
“After the vehicle hit the kerb, one of the babysitters patted the driver and asked if she was OK. She replied she was fine. Seconds later, the accident happened and she fainted,” he said.
He said the unconscious driver was breathing and had a pulse before she was carried into an ambulance.
The woman was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei for treatment.
According to police, the male Tesla driver, 30, was unhurt.
The source said he believed the bus driver had experienced a medical issue, adding that officers would check her health history as part of the investigations.

Officers from the Kowloon West traffic unit are following up on the case.
Separately, a 28-year-old driver escaped injury when his vehicle hit a 1.5-metre-long railing before slamming into a dump truck and another car at a red light near the former Kai Tak Airport in Kowloon City at around 7.07am.
Police said the site of the accident was the junction of Shing Kai Road and Muk Kai Street.
The 43-year-old truck driver and two woman passengers, aged 63 and 64, of the other car suffered mild injures and were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
A police spokesman said no arrests were made and that traffic officers were investigating.
Official figures showed that 51 people were killed in 47 traffic accidents across the city in the first half of this year. Throughout last year, 96 people died in 96 fatal crashes.
