Jennifer Ellison reveals eye-watering six figure payday she turned down to pose NAKED for Playboy
JENNIFER Ellison revealed that she turned down an eye-watering six-figure cheque to pose naked for Playboy.
She was offered such a high sum because she was one of the biggest TV stars in the noughties.
Jennifer is best known for her role in the soap Brookside, where she played Emily Shadwick.
She also appeared in The Phantom of the Opera in 2004, The Cottage in 2008, and Hotel Babylon in 2006.
She was regularly on the covers of magazines, including the now defunct Zoo and FHM.
The 41-year-old appeared on the Anything Goes With James English podcast, where she discussed her early career.

Jennifer talked about how she turned down £500k to pose for Playboy at 21-years-old.
She said: "I did turn down Playboy for nearly half a million because I just thought, 'if I ever have little boys' - and I'm so glad that I turned it down because the Internet's crazy now.
"Even when they're playing rugby, they'll go, 'you're mum this or that'.
"Because they've seen me in the mens mags, not now, but obviously they've had a little google, so if there was anything like that out now, I would've been mortified."
Jennifer added: "I went over to LA and I sat in the Playboy office and it was surreal. She [The lady that was managing Playboy at the time] said I didn't have to do full nude, it just had to be my bum and boobs.
"My dad was a hackney taxi driver and I thought, 'he can't go and work on the rank' and I just though if I ever had little boys, that's their forever."
Jennifer, who lost a whopping three stone, recently talked about her decision to quit fad diets.
She explained to Closer Magazine: "I'm not the smallest I've ever been, but am at a happy weight where I feel OK getting into a bikini or a costume in the swimming pool.
"I'm in a happy and confident place. I am about 10¾st at the moment.
"I don't feel I'm in that rat race anymore of having to look amazing. I've stopped trying to diet."
She went on to say: "When you do faddy diets they don't work, so I've given up. My weight has gone up and down so much over the years so I just try to eat healthily now.”
The mum-of-three showed off her toned and tanned figure during her recent holiday to Turkey.
She jetted away with her husband Rob and their three children – Bobby, Harry and Charlie.

In one snap, Jennifer wore a hot pink bikini top and thong bottoms, while her blonde hair was worn loose around her shoulders.
Another holiday snap showed the star in a black thong and yellow crop top.
