Bargain hunters race to check out the epic Tesco sale – with Christmas trees slashed to only £1.68
BARGAIN hunters are racing to their nearest Tesco store, desperate to check out the epic sale.
And if you are yet to get your hands on a Christmas tree or are a fan of gardening, you’ll want to check this out.
One savvy shopper was left stunned when browsing the Tesco aisles, when she spotted that mini Christmas trees and a range of outdoor items had been slashed.
Thrilled with her cheap finds, Dorina Makra took to social media to alert other shoppers.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Dorina shared snaps of the discounted products and wrote: “I saw these in Tesco today.”
Dorina spotted mini Christmas tree plants that come in a beautiful pot, which had been reduced down from just £3.50 to only £1.68.

Not only this, but she also found straw dog and cow planters, which were once £8, but had been slashed to just £3.60.
If that wasn’t enough, she also laid eyes on an adorable outdoor plant, which was placed in a pair of wellington boots, which had been reduced down from £10 to £4.30.
So if you are green-fingered and fancy brightening up your home or garden, you’ll need to get down to Tesco - and fast.
Dorina’s post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 921 likes and 287 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the cheap buys and many were keen to express this in the comments.
One person said: “I’m going.”
Another added: “I need one.”
Meanwhile, another bargain hunter penned: “Wish our Tesco had them I would've got a few.”
Whilst another shopper wrote: “I got one in Silverburn (Glasgow) last night. It's really cute.”
At the same time, many shoppers tagged their friends and loved ones to alert them to the reduced items.
One shopper tagged a loved one and commented: “We need to go Tesco.”
A second alerted a friend and claimed: “Tomorrow we go to Tesco.”
Whilst someone else asked a Facebook user: “If you go Tesco please get me one.”
