Moment thieves squeeze through tiny gap in Tesco security screen & ransack booze aisle as staff watch on helplessly
THIEVES have been caught on camera ransacking a booze aisle in Tesco and squeezing through a tiny gap in a security screen.
Staff and shoppers watch on helplessly as the ordeal unfolds.
In the video, uploaded to X, a thief can be seen climbing over a cashier screen.
The space is so tight, they lift the ceiling tiles as they crawl.
Meanwhile, two other thieves, with hoods, stuff bottles of white wine into their bags.
The person recording returns to the ceiling scrambler who has now jumped into the secured tobacco section.

The thief opens the door for their accomplices to enter.
Each one of them grabs as much tobacco as they can, among other products.
Then, they grab their sacks and make off through the store entrance.
Staff can be seen recording the thieves, while shoppers watch in shock.
The video is captioned: "Shop thieves in Tesco London".
It was posted this morning at around 10am and has attained over 79,800 views.
One person commented: "This is not normal. Much in the UK is not normal. Successive governments are responsible for treason.
"It's that serious, but like frogs in a pot, the citizens slowly come to boil, desensitised by a constant bombardment from multiple angles."
Followed by a second: "Just terrible and terrifying for staff. Hope police do full investigation and get them."
Other social media users questioned where the staff and security are.
Another person said: "This is never ending."
"Cant get over the guy on the ceiling", said another.
Tesco and the Police have been approached for a comment.
