Love Island’s Cracking On with The Sun podcast reveals secret row behind Callum & Molly split as they reunite on screen
LOVE Island All Stars fans were left reeling when Monday’s launch ended on the huge reveal of the first bombshells Molly Smith and Callum Jones.
Many had no idea the once-strong couple had even split and were quick to wonder if the break had all been faked so they could appear on the reunion show in South Africa - but our new podcast Cracking On can now expose their secret rows.
Speaking on today’s all-new podcast, The Sun’s TV experts Felicity Cross and Amanda Devlin delve into the rumours that the couple had engineered their split.
And we debunk fan theories the duo were faking their extreme reaction when they saw each other for the first time in the villa.
A source close to Molly said: “Frankly neither Molly or Callum are anywhere near good enough actors to have pulled that off - it was a very real, very raw break up and she is still very hurt by it.
“Genuinely she had no idea he was going to be there and will have been properly gutted to walk in and him be there.

“Basically with Molly coming up to her 30th birthday, things naturally started to feel more serious and she wanted to start looking at the next logical steps in their relationship.
“It’s not exactly demanding to have expected Callum to be on the same page given they lived together and owned two dogs.
“But the talk about next steps and getting engaged totally freaked him out and it was like something in his head just disconnected.
“He suddenly shut down and they began rowing non-stop.”
After meeting during Casa Amor in Cape Town in 2020, Callum and Molly became one of the dating show’s most genuine pairings.
They had set up home together in Manchester and owned two dogs.
When they split Molly kept Pomeranian, Nelly, and Callum took Winnie the pug.
