"If I’m having a tough month and need to watch what I’m spending, this shopping list always gets me through," she says.

"I can get a week's worth of food for less than £10, and still make satisfying meals that won’t leave me hungry."

The money-saving whizz starts off with breakfast, and explains how she keeps it simple throughout the week.

“Aldi’s own brand cereal is excellent value, and a bowl of that in the morning always keeps me going until lunch," she says.

"I go for their Cornflakes for 75p a box, and to go with it I buy a 1L bottle of Long Life Semi Skinned Milk for 89p. That’s £1.64 for a week’s worth of breakfasts - not bad!”

Eilish's shopping list:

Harvest Morn Cornflakes 500g, 75p

Everyday Essentials Medium Sliced Wholemeal Bread 800g, 45p

Nature's Pick Baking Potatoes 4 Pack, 70p x 2

Everyday Essentials Spaghetti Loops In Tomato Sauce 410g, 19p x 4

Everyday Essentials Cheesy Single Slices 255g/15 Pack, 83p

Belmont Bourbon Creams, 39p

Everyday Essentials Tomato & Herb Pasta Sauce 440g, 47p

Cowbelle British Semi-skimmed Long Life Milk 1l, 90p

Everyday Essentials Pasta Spaghetti 500g, 28p

Nature's Pick Iceberg Lettuce 200g, 75p

Ashfields British Cooked Ham 115g, 85p

Everyday Essentials Cherry Tomatoes 250g, 69p

Riverway Irish Recipe Style 8 Pork Sausages 410g, £1.29

But when it comes to lunch, Eilish's options are a bit more varied.

She explains: “For lunches I tend to alternate between a sandwich or a jacket potato and spaghetti hoops.

"Both are real comfort meals, and easy to do on a budget.

“So, I’ll buy a loaf of Aldi’s Everyday Essentials Wholemeal Bread for 45p, and then get some fillers like a packet of ham (89p), tomatoes (65p) and lettuce (67p) to go inside.

"A four pack of jacket potatoes is just £1.30, and then Spaghetti Hoops are the cheapest topper I’ve found at just 19p a tin”.

Eilish points out that dinner is where she mixes things up the most.

I'm an Aldi superfan and love their middle aisles - but I ditched it for Asda, I can't believe how much food I got

Aldi’s Everyday Essentials line is their budget range, and they do a pack of Spaghetti for 28p, as well as a Tomato and Herb Sauce for 47p.

"It’s a 500g pack of spaghetti as well, so can last a few dinners if you’re only cooking for one," she explains.

“I also buy an extra bag of potatoes and the Riverway Sausages (£1.29) for bangers and mash.

"You can’t beat classic hearty meals like that in the winter, and it’s a bonus when they’re affordable.

"I usually have Bisto in the cupboard as well if I want a splash of gravy.

“And then I’ll mix in cheese toasties in the week for a quick and easy dinner. Aldi does a pack of 15 Cheese Singles for 83p, and I’ll use the loaf of bread I bought for sandwiches.

“With the remaining budget I usually treat myself to some biscuits I can have with my evening cup of tea.

"This week I went for a pack of Bourbon Creams for 39p”.

"It’s worth noting that Eilish doesn’t eat like this all the time.

"This is a great list to save for the odd week where you’re struggling and need to be savvy with your money until payday."
