Love Island fans threaten to boycott All Stars if Islander returns to show

LOVE Island fans have threatened to boycott the All Stars series if Scott Van-der-Sluis makes a return.

Scott, 22, broke show records last year when he became the most frequent contestant to ever appear on the programme.

He first entered the villa as a bombshell on the British Love Island's tenth series, but was soon dumped alongside Abi Moores.

Just weeks after being sent home, the footballer surprised fans with an announcement that he'd been signed up for Love Island USA.

Scott's stint was quite short-lived, though, as he only lasted one week - much like his appearance on Love Island Games which concluded after just three days.

With ITV2's All Star series just around the corner, some Reddit users shared their frustration at his repeated returns to the format.

One wrote, "I’m begging he doesn’t go on there. He’s actually so draining now."

Another asked, "How could he be considered an all-star when he lost three times?"

Someone else agreed, "I'm glad others are finally tired of him. I've been long tired," with a fourth adding, "Please no. Get this man off my screen."

But others shot back at the naysayers, with one writing, "Y’all turn on people so easily. I hope he comes back to p**s everyone off."

A second gushed, "I think he’s gorgeous I can’t wait to see him again."

In October, Scott revealed how much he got paid to appear on all these shows.

He told GK Barry on her Saving Grace podcast: “I had a week at home and then I got a call one day.

“First thing, I was like no and they went, 'We want you to do the USA one,’ and I had heard about the Love Island Games thing they were doing and they went, 'We want you to do this and this,’ and put a figure in front of me and I was like, ‘I’m going to f***king do it.'

“It was pretty much that. With the social media ban we are not getting as much as previous years, lets face it so if someone puts a figure in front of you - you are going to do it.

“I knew I would get the reaction I am getting. Coming out the USA one, I knew people would turn on me.”

The new edition of the show starts in just days, and it is set to bring together a line-up of past favourite Islanders, all hoping for a second shot at love in the villa.

The Sun exclusively revealed that the Love Island All Stars cast will include a whole host of fan favourites from past series of the show.

The likes of Georgia Steel, Mitch Taylor, Paige Thorne, Kaz Crossley, Ovie Soko and Kaz Crossley are expected to make a comeback on the Maya Jama fronted instalment.
