A CLEANING pro shared a hack to remove odors from your couch before company comes over for the holidays.
If your couch is hiding loads of trash, it will smell amazing after a simple tip that takes seconds to complete.
TikToker Kayleigh Taylor (@cleanwith_kayleigh) loves to share her cleaning tricks on TikTok.
With Christmas around the corner, Kayleigh made a video about how to make a dirty couch smell great before guests arrive.
"Sofa refresh cleaning hack," she captioned the clip.
"Using Coco and Lola disinfectant to have the sofa smelling fresh just in time for the festive period," Kayleigh added.
Coco and Lola is a concentrated antibacterial that can be purchased online or at Aldi.
The first thing Kayleigh did was grab a fresh dishtowel and soak it in water mixed with the disinfectant.
The second step was to remove the couch cushions and vacuum the garbage that slipped between them.
Kayleigh also vacuumed the tops of the cushions, and the sides of the sofa.
Next, it was time to use the viral hack: Where you put a damp cloth over a pot lid and wipe the couch down.
Kayleigh re-wet the damp cloth a few times until the sofa was fully cleaned.
For the final step, she added matching pillows.
People on TikTok applauded Kayleigh's hack.
"Wil most definitely be doing this. What a great idea," one person wrote.
