I forked out a small fortune for hair extensions and ended up looking like Lisa Simpson – it was a total disaster
A WOMAN who forked out a small fortune on hair extensions has told of her horror after she was left looking like "Lisa Simpson."
Ell explained how she was "charged a bomb" by a professional after getting her hair extensions fitted - only for them to end up being a total disaster.
The blonde beauty took to TikTok (@elliegracemoor) and shared a series of shocking photos showing off the bright yellow, disastrous hair extensions she was fitted.
In the clip, she says: "Throwback to the worst hair extensions I've ever had…also this is how unreal my hair is now."
Ell begins by showing off the stark colour difference in her natural hair and the rather yellow extensions that were professionally fit for her.
"The thread colour match is on point…the most unreal fitting ever," she sarcastically writes.

On the next slide, she shows a photo revealing how poorly the extensions were fitted.
"Love it when my weave literally sticks out my head," she quips.
"Perfect colour match - my hair is giving Lisa Simpson."
Not stopping there with her sarcasm, she then shows further images of the total hair fail, which includes the matted mess she'd wake up with every morning.
"Every morning I'd wake up with a weave like this but obvs a hair mask will fix it…also I'd sleep with it in a low pony every night."
After expressing her concerns to the hair professional in question, Ell shared the response she received from her, which read: "A macadamia mask would rectify this and bring the hair back to its normal texture and quality."
Ell jokes: "Perfect response - such a helpful girl."
Alongside further photos, including one which shows her extensions have doubled over, she asks: "Is that a tension bald spot I see?
"Another row and another fold over - perfect…I can sleep on this just fine."
It wasn't long before the post went viral, racking up over 67k views and hundreds of comments - with many horrified by the hair extensions that Ell received.
"Coming from a stylist - I’m so sorry you had to go through this. That fitting is NOT acceptable. You must have been in so much pain," wrote one.
El responded: "Hahahaha the girl that took them out said I had a few lil BLADY patches."
A second penned: "They look sooo painful."
Ell replied: "Literally couldn’t sleep for weeks."
A third asked: "Omg did you get your money back?"
Ell answered: "Only like 1/3 of it cause she wasn’t taking no blame lmao."
Another commented: "Noooo why am I seeing so much of this lately.
