WITH the cost of everything going up and up, it's no wonder that many of us are wanting to earn a little extra cash right now.

Rather than trying to sell her old clothes online, one young woman has come up with a 'super easy' side hustle and earns an extra £1,500 almost every month.

In fact, Jess Salemme was particularly thankful for her side hustle after falling on tough times.

Having been in a stable cooperate job for several years, the mum-of-one decided to shake thing up and join an exciting start up compare.

Though it seemed like her dream role, the tech worker would be laid off just seven months later in late 2022.

Rather than jumping straight back into the world of work, she decided to try and live off some of the side hustles she'd started just before being made redundant.

Ironically, using an app as been one of the former tech worker's most lucrative ventures.

"I started doing Rover because I wanted to make a little extra cash on the side, then I got laid off like a month later," she explained.

For those that are unfamiliar with the Rover app, it allows you to work as a dog walker and sitter with users setting their rate as well as their hours.

In fact, users report that they can up to earn £32 per night - just by looking after someone else's pup.

Whilst it sounds too good to be true, Jess shared that she'd found the app 'super easy' to use and could make over $1,500 (£1192) per month just buy using it.

You won't have to take on hundreds of dogs either as the influencer says she earnt this by taking on just one dog per day and just charging $50 (£39) for sitting them.

"As far as skills required in order to be a dog walker/sitter, you just have to like animals and be good with pets," she revealed, adding: "You don't need to have a ton of experience."

Before you start signing up to spend your free time with pups, you might want to listen to the influencer's advice.

Though she loved using the app, Jess did reveal that you need to be strong as managing even the most well behaved pooch can be very physically demanding.

If the sound of spending all day with dogs doesn't sound too bad though, you could make an additional £43,000 just by signing up to the app (yes, you read that right).

Based on her earning $50 per dog, you'd only need to babysit three dogs per day to make this amount of extra cash - which is more than some salaries.

Even better, you can fit this around your existing role as Jess revealed that she and her husband had used the app alongside their existing jobs.

Remind us again why we aren't doing this full time?
