I had dark undereye circles but now my skin is flawless without concealer – my two-step routine uses an $11 Walmart buy
A BEAUTY guru has sparked a rush to Walmart after revealing how a budget-friendly buy transformed her undereyes.
She shared photos of the dark circles and bags that she had before adding two steps to her skincare routine.
Dayna Ruddock (@daynasworld) has over 39,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares self-care tips.
She appeared to have age-defying undereyes as she shared how she got rid of her dark circles.
“If you have dark circles under your eyes or you have eye bags, you’re gonna want to watch this video,” she said.
The beauty guru revealed that she no longer wears concealer under her eyes but still applies it to the areas of her skin that have hyperpigmentation.
She shared a two-step skincare routine that she repeats each night on her “dry and sensitive” skin.
“The first thing that you’re going to want to do is get brightening pads,” she said holding up a product.
“These are the ones from Hero called Lightning Swipe and they contain niacinamide.
“Niacinamide improves uneven skin tone, softens fine lines and wrinkles.
“I just wipe under and above the eyes, that’s literally it.
“Usually I do my whole face but I’m about to go back out.”
Hero’s Lightning Swipe costs $20 on the brand’s website, where it has a 4.5-star rating.
She then held up CeraVe eye repair cream for dark circles and puffiness, which can be found at Walmart for $11.20.
“Helps reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness in the under eye area,” reads the product description.
“Brightening cream with a non-greasy finish that leaves under eyes looking hydrated, smooth, brightened, and more awake.
“Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to help retain skin's moisture and Niacinamide to help soothe skin.”
Dayna used her fingertips to gently dab the repair cream under her eyes and said she also applies it in the morning.
“It’s so smooth,” she said. “Top it off with your moisturizers and makeup.”
She added in the caption of her post that she’s working on staying hydrated and getting enough rest to achieve the best results.
Over 56,000 people liked the video and hundreds of viewers took to the comment section saying they were eager to try her advice.
“OMG, thank you I’ve been looking for something simple,” one person said.
“Girl I need this [crying],” another commented.
“As someone who has panda eyes, your timing is God-sent,” a third chimed in.
